There are several manufacturers of similar units and 99% of websites carry the only the old version that accepts only 2GB maximum SD cards Or the internal memory units. (These units take snap picture and have inferior resolution) Both these versions have the lower resolution of 352x288 and require multiple operating steps that are very confusing. As a further warning to our valued customers there are a few independent Chinese websites selling Cam Sticks along with other 'gadget' electronic devices. We have extensive experience buying from manufacturers in China and will advise you these sites are one man operations masquerading as companies and dealing in low quality 'knock offs' or counterfeits produced by small 'underground' shops, a huge problem in China. If the specs indicate 640 x480 it is actually 352 x 288. These products are QC 'rejects'. They all have operational defects, are bought in bulk and are then sold cheap to unsuspecting 0n-line U.S. buyers. If you purchase one of these products there is no warranty, return policy, e-mail support or phone to call. Since posting this warning we have received hundreds of e-mails and spoken on the phone to many folks who have had this unfortunate experience. To further compound this some U.S. vendors are duped into buying these counterfeits attracted by a very low wholesale price. Our unit is the latest release of this product. Follow these easy Steps for Setting up and using the Micro Spy Cam Stick
Note: Do NOT switch the power On/Off button to Off when the Mini Spy Cam Stick is recording because the data will not be saved! 
 Step 7: Viewing or listening to recorded video or audio Connect the included USB cable to the cam stick and then directly to your pc/Mac. Alternatively you can remove the micro SD card and insert it into the included SD adapter to use with a 'card reader' or if you own a new computer insert the SD adapter directly into the computer.
